1. His primary task is to feed the flock by leading them to green pastures (pg. 17).
2. Do we really believe that the Word of God, by His Spirit, changes, as well as maddens men? If we do, to be evangelists and pastors, feeders of sheep, we must be men of the Word of God (pg. 23).
3. Courage is the greatest lack today (pg. 25).
4. The preaching of the Word of God, when it flows through  living vessel dedicated utterly o the Master’s use, is not only an event in the lives of those who hear it but becomes, first, a decisive act, and then, necessary food for their souls (pg. 27).

7. Her members (the Church) are to submit to the powers that be, as far as this does not conflict with the individual conscience, and they are to let the state do as it will. If the state forbids Christians, loyal Christians, to be Christians, she can only kill the body, she cannot kill the soul (pg. 67).
8. There is nothing so sorely needed in the world today as the World of God hammered home to people’s minds, hearts, and wills (pg. 92).
9. There is no greater or better way to make an impact than by sounding forth the Word of God and brining people under its life-changing and character-transforming power (pg. 95).
10. God pins His hope on the remnant in every age who live in Messianic hope and power (pg. 115).
